Sport On

Inside My Head | May 30, 2016 | By

Wimbledon has seen some of the greatest athletes of all time and tennis as a sport is celebrated by millions of fans around the world. In fact any sport is, and will always be celebrated because sports challenge the possibilities that we as individuals can achieve. It takes practice, commitment, and patience to come out victorious. Such is true for any field of work, but the pressure felt by athletes I believe is a notch higher. Sport makes physical and mental demands on your body.

We have read many stories around drug abuse by athletes for performance enhancement. We have heard about the Lance Armstrong affair, the Usain Bolt debacle and even Serena, Sharapova withdrawals. Astonishing as it may sound, a significant number of sportsmen dope to up their game.

To get involved with this theme, team BareBerryBlush launched this video which talks about drug abuse by players. See below our interpretation for #PlayItFair. This hashtag caught our attention when earlier this year Allen Solly released their Wimbledon Collection for Men and themed it #PlayItFair.

Our aim is to get this message across – Don’t go down the cross-roads and trip on a one-way steroid ticket.
