Looks to adapt from Bangalore Fashion Week 2015

A trans-formative mirage of fashion comes along when a fashion week takes place.

DF Silver line Bangalore Fashion Week 13th edition powered by Snapdeal showcased brightest emerging talents and veterans taking the audience through the mirage of fashion. The bold colours and the intricate embroideries transcended on me even more as I got to enter each show as media.

For my outfit I chose a peplum skirt-dress in a subtle color for Day 3 and a striped shirt-dress with gladiator sandals for Day 4. I wanted to keep it chic yet formal as this was a work-event for me.

The event was spread through four days, each day starting with DREAM ZONE fashion school collections. One thing I appreciate is when the industry allows young individuals to showcase their Talent.

More than twenty designers came together at this event to showcase their collection, each wonderfully yet uniquely themed. Ranging from Contemporary Indian wear for women to traditional Rajput menswear. Clothing like crepe Dhoti pants with hand-woven kimono shrug, Pastel colour calf length sari’s with textured vest, sheer flowy kurta’s as 3rd layer with rich satin pants and dresses, elegantly worked all white sari gowns, and our favorite was cape jackets for women and for Men wide leg pants, three layer traditional Indian suits, calf length kurta  with vibrantly inspired tribal printed silk shawls.

We loved Amita Gupta for beauties wrapped in embellishments (collection themed “Gothic Love with Cathedral”), Ashok Maanay for his so-so-warm smile (collection “THE REGALIA”) and Monapali for infusing patterns with free-flowing dhoti pants and off-beat saree drapes.

We have picked some of the most adaptable images from the four days for you:

Snapdeal had its affair too. They put-up a show that got its audience grooving with the music and even taste the ramp with models. Read tomorrow’s article to see how Snapdeal brings street-fashion from the four fashion capitals of the world to India.
