Serving the Urban Tribe | HyperCity
Modern times and urban cities bring as much simplicity as complexity. We millennials are so busy buying cars and homes that sometimes we forget to visit the market to buy bare essentials. It’s such a roller coaster ride from our homes to office cabs to desk and back that most of us living in metro cities don’t really have the time to buy even groceries. And then there are night shifts!
Recognizing this many business and brands are providing home delivery services accessible by a click of a button and HyperCity joined this last week. They have launched their home delivery mobile app and website. Thought this app is currently accessible in Banaglore, I must this is the way to go for supermarkets. Along-side this they marked the day by also opening their 4th store in Bangalore in Orion Mall. It was a fun show by Danish Sait where he impersonated his famous character – Nograj. You can watch the video here.
Earlier I used to live in the Whitefield area, Banaglore and the HyperCity store in that area was my go to for everything. Vegetables, groceries, toys, a good range of clothing and footwear, I had all my needs available under one roof; and to add to my delight, there even was a beauty and spa chain “Enrich Salons”. I even took my friends to the Sunday tour to the supermarket (as embarrassing as this sounds, there wasn’t much to do in Whitefield until Phoenix and VR Malls came up). Also the fact that Bangalore as city really doesn’t have many vegetable vendors, one must walk a lot to buy veggies.
Translating this to today, visiting malls is more of a delight than necessity as I don’t really have the time to do so with my busy schedule. With the launch of the app, I can now order on the go. Potatoes over, no worries. Toiletries over, no worries. Want a pet, no worries, his food will arrive before he does J With HyperCity app that promises to deliver within 3 hours of order, life becomes a tad but more easier.
